About Beat Press

Beat Press was started as a result of the publisher's attempts to get his book published. His book "Law Enforcement Links," lists, describes in detail and rates over 500 sites of interest to law enforcement on the Internet's World Wide Web.

The author, Larry Wilson, a police officer, submitted his manuscript to a number of the mainstream publishers. Each submission was very time consuming with the results usually the same. The publishers felt that the book was a good idea but the target audience too small. The author was convinced that it was a good product and decided to self-publish it. That's when Beat Press was born.

Beat Press is having great success with "Law Enforcement Links" and fully expects it to be an ongoing publication, updated at least once a year. It is enjoying sales all across North America and is currently being distributed in Australia.

Notwithstanding the success of "Law Enforcement Links," Beat Press plans to expand its line of publications by adding books from other authors and publishers relating to law enforcement. Beat Press looks forward to hearing from anyone who has written or published a book in this category.
